The Battle of Marathon 2025

Before any paint touched the surface, this drawing began as writing: pages of thoughts inked across a 6×9 ft sheet of paper. Fears, hopes, the need to feel real in a world that moves too fast. Then, over months, those words were buried through layers of oil pastel until they became whispers beneath the color.

The result is an energetic landscape of swirling marks and collision of color where figures seem to emerge, dissolve, and reappear. Up close, you may glimpse fragments of the buried text: the record of a moment, hidden but still alive.
